gracie was hangin around outside the auribell, reading a book of fairy tales with some of her favorite stories in it, when another auri approached. she didn't notice them until they said something to her, but when they addressed her, she looked up with surprise. her expression was unreadable for just a moment, processing what they said, then it morphed into an expression of hostility and anger. who did they think they were, talking to other aurii like that? not only that, but the aurii looked familiar, in that she'd heard descriptions of him being whispered around the auribell. he was a... a bully! he said mean things for fun!

she wasn't going to take that lying down - who in their right mind would? she didn't have to justify what made her happy. she knew nothing was wrong with her, and she wasn't going to listen to somebody who put everybody down just because he thought he could. princesses did not let themselves be walked over like that, or at least, she didn't think they should. she quickly gathered her things and walked away after saying her piece, not wanting to give him the satisfaction of continuing to antagonize her with lies.
