Now that Salad knew Hadi liked the other wyngling, he was insufferable. He wouldn't stop bothering her until, eventually, he actually physically pushed her into talking to the her.

It didn't go as bad as Hadi thought. She talked to Gypsum and actually seemed to garner some curiosity over some of her more unusual features, like her tail and the wrybone. Hadi got to ask about things too, like the wynglings she saw Gypsum with the other day, which were apparently Gypsum's brothers.

Even though it didn't go horribly, however, she was still going to kill Salad for pushing her into it.
