Winry cast her mind back to the things her family told her about spites and frowned. "Yeah... yeah. I mean, they don't like... eat babies or anything. I think." According to her parents, that wasn't true, but she took the things they said with a grain of salt. They were paranoid, even for people who took extra precautions against spites. When she was younger she had believed the things they said, but when she started going to school at the nook she'd realized that other people found her family's beliefs to be pretty silly.

Still....

She couldn't entirely believe this Garou character, either. It was hard to jump the hurdles in her mind - that the spites her own family spoke of could be 'good.' Perhaps it was just that simple: they were neither good nor bad? Honestly, Winry wasn't sure. So many things were like that in the world, or at least, that's what she thought.

"What's your name, anyway? I been talking your ear off but I never got a name!"

Winry started, caught a bit off-guard by the question. But the answer came easy to her, as it always did.

"It's Quest," she told him with a small smile. "Call me Quest."
