it looks nice for a anim8tor render
but i sugest you to move to maya modeling there is easier.

eh eh Yoshi is yoshi

you could try to add some lights. add more detail to the boots.

about the render I dont know how does that prog works, but you could try to smooth the objects

dont forget about the Yoshi eggs! and the Yoshi tree!
i think if you do add some more yoshis and make the image a bit larger you will make a pretty cool wall paper.
