Yes it is, the inside is as nice as the outside. Unfortunately they did not allow photographs to be taken inside because of theft and insurance reasons.

I cannot imagine being able to keep up with all the painting of separate colors to keep up the beauty of this house! It is just a beautiful place, though.

I don't know which came first, the house or the book. I believe they made a movie Pippi Longstocking for children, they could have used this house in the filming of the movie.

I imagine they could. The house in the original movies were similar to this but larger. Then there was a cartoon too with a drawn house which was even more crazy.

It may be american or whatever but this is what I always immagined Villa Villekulla from Pippi Longstockings to look like.
(In german her house is called Villa Kunterbunt "Villa Colorful" roughly translated).
