Gorgeous photo!! If my mojo wasn't on holiday I'd be using it. I used to raise and train Arabian horses, so Equestrian stock is always a fav with me..

It was indeed..I loved every day of it, well every year..I did it for 30yrs, then a bad accident damaged my back..so..no more riding..broke my heart..

Wow! Beautiful photo. I've never seen a grey horse look so clean before, and look at the crimps in the tail. It must've taken the groom hours and hours to prepare the horse. Interesting stirrups too. I've never seen stirrups like that before except for a similar type in pictures of Samurai on horseback.

I agree that the horse was magnificently groomed and I can't eve guess at how long it took! As for the stirrups I think they are rather strange, maybe they make it easier to stand up in them for trick riding?
