Well, he isn't Jewish, that much I can tell you!
I believe this statue in my gallery may be from the same artist/sculptor. The style looks very similar.

Oh look you have babies with fish too! ha ha. Lovely photos, yes the style looks the same. Do you know who the artist is, if not I will have to do some research.

I never could locate anything online that stated who the artist/sculptor was. He/she does beautiful work, though!

When I go back to the Huntington, I will see if they list the artist near the statue I shot.

I've had this idea in the back of my head of making a crowd-sourced reference of creepy bronze children locations.

Lovely image Lori as I believe it to be what they call a "Cherub", but I guess since it's holding a fish, a "baby angel" would be better!!

I was not sure what to call it, cherub did come to mind, by I don't think I have ever seen Cherubs holding a fish. I like baby angel anyway. I will claim photographers "license" to call it a baby cherub. ha ha

Hey Lori!!
I really don't either as I don't think babies could hold a fish that size anyway to be realistic!! "Yes" ... "Baby Angel with Fish" should work quite nicely as it's logical if anything else!!
Hahahaha!!

You are probably correct in calling it a Seraphin, I like "baby angel". ha ha
