Oh, c'mon, she found the mutilated body of her beloved husband. At some point she has to chose between her sort-of-adopted child and the organization, for which she worked for the better part of her life and in which ideals she still believes. She is declared a traitor. She observes her kid turn into the Slayer, an abomination of nature and endanger the Balance. She has every right to look sad.

Very true, it's amazing the woman doesn't explode with all the pent up emotions! But I just found it interesting that you showed that, as most of the time she's depicted as the bossy stoic one. Not bad, just interesting
