Description
I went to a formal wedding on New Year's eve. I was waiting in line for a drink at the reception with my camera down at my side, when this mime came over, stuck his face in front of the lens and i snapped a pic, while the cam was still near my knee. He was so impressed at my "sieze the moment" attitude (and he liked the pic), he wanted to do head shots as well as other conceptual ideas with me.Many ideas flew to mind, but i really wanted to capture a Beckettian sense of emptiness and lonliness....as i become more into the art thing, i seem to slip into this void often and without avail...and it is I that cannot use words to speak of this solitude.

the mime certainly does project a lonely feeling... overall, i really like the way you toned this and the way the marble texture appears. it positively shimmers on my lcd into the shadow above! and the exposure of the detail on the ceiling is wonderful!

the concept is great, the vast loneliness is obvious and I like the tone... mimes can always seem so sad sometimes..

its terrible that you have to resize your images to such a tiny resolution because of people that can simply rip an aritists work without hesitation..
I would spend perhaps thrice as muc htime staring at this was it slightly bigger, but the concept is always excellent, like someone once said you are the concept queen indeed..

Very nice photograph, the vastness of the frame is great... Iād like to see some more of the mime... You know a mime is a terrible thing to waste... ok bad joke.
