that's a really nice looking station... from what you usually hear about DC, you would expect different

i live in Southern Maryland.. about an hour and a half from downtown DC... so i can relate to this picture prety well... especially from my few visits up to DC... I want to go again SOON, but I don't want it to be a trip to freaking club DREAM because to me... clubs are super played out. I just wanna experience DC! blah blah blah... excuse me... i drank a few beers on my way back home from La Plata up north of here and now I'm blitzed and just surfing DA... see ya around. i love riding the metrop system everytime im in DC. i usually stay at a friends place a few blocks from one of the green line stops.

You are absolutely correct about the metrorail... I have seen many a beautiful photo, though you seem to have captured the essence of the beauty.
The motion in this peice is stunning. How you can see the people walking and waiting on the other side of the rails. It seems like you froze the moment when the train started up again, as there seems a hint of detail of the train's within.
The perspective utilized is excellent as well, as you have expertly placed the vanishing point on the golden third (you know, those 2 lines that mark the approximate divisions on thirds 
I personally don't ride metro very often, though if I saw this photo in one of their ads, I just might start. It really makes riding the light rail seem like an enjoyable experience. I imagine that people wish they lived here after seeing this photo.
Congrats, you have impressed me with your artistic skill. Many photographers take captures; you have created a masterpiece.
