the green in the ceiling making a visual compensation for the train is just something beautiful.
Fruthermore, I absolutely adore the " picture inside the picture" of the person walking on the other aisle of the subway. This is so real, and it makes me feel like I could see this picture in real life as well, it does not look 'impossible' like so many other pictures.
That is the detail that makes this one stand out.

At first I thought that this is just another subway photo (well composed of course). Then a few things in the photo is different from other shots like this.
1. You can see people on the other side of the train. Quite funny I think.
2. the train looks like it is about to fall over.

I love the extended feel of this. The train and ceiling both draw movement in this still medium, and I can't help but wonder about that odd little man strolling awkwardly towards the camera.

Haha DC metro modern and gorgeous! That's funny. In your picture it does look gorgeous, but in real life it's not all that much to talk about. I spent plenty of time on the metro this past weekend hehe. Though I do admit it is pretty cool looking in some places. It's like a whole 'nother world!! Definetly the way to travel if you hate parking and city traffic (the traffic in DC is pure hell plus where are you going to park?). And you have to like walking!! Hehe. Anyways nice piece. I like the motion and the lighting. Good job
