i taped them together, sat them and shot in a millisecond before then flipped on their back due to their weight and bouyancy...it was annoying, but then most of the simplest things turn out to be not so very simple anyway.
You really get used to it in studio shoots.

5 little ducks went out one day, two of them fucked the day away....
Great shot, clean, beautiful.... this is very reminiscent of a Dorling Kindersly book my son has of 5 little ducks... although I'm pretty sure I don't remember any carnal acts in his version.

How do you get the background a pure white? What's your light source and where is it placed?
I was trying to take some macro shots and I could not light it properly without having to use the flash...

throught the glass of a fishtank. you have to manually focus as well, but it is pretty simple. i would not use on cam flash either....you could get reflections.

Anyhow, just for curiosity, in what do you put your water in? It's so delicately cut with a wave or stain of water on the recipient borders... You must have waited a long time before it would stabilize!
