i didn't thinl about selling it, but i made a print yesterday and it looked pretty good.

this is really beautiful.
The use of simple black and white on a surface that we usually see a rish variety of hues is really effective, as is the slight use of color on the lips.
The strong light on the left and the subtle start of the strong shadow really draws your eye across the page.
I would really love to see a series of these involving different body parts with this same black and white make up.

i have an idea for series like this, but i refuse to use myself...it is too difficult to get perfect focus when shooting macros, unless you are using a little hand held digital, but i am working with a digital slr and a 100mm f2.8 maco....so focus is a guessing game...and focus is the most important part of macro work.

the position of the lashes irritates. but not that i complain. it's good and makes you look twice.
the grey border is a love hate thing i assume but i think i like it. it's an appropriate balance to the b/w elements in the picture itself.

i am not sure about the grey border, but i tried black and then white, and i think this is a bit better...but i still am unsure.

my alternative choice would have been no border at all. i think an either entirely black or white border would stress the the same colour in the image itself too much.
but the gray border's a good decision

The gloss really stands out to me--I like how the lack of color made such a pale shade stand out. Her cheek towards the edge of the picture on the right looks almost chalky . . . this picture is slightly abstract as far as fashion/make-up shots go, but sometimes those are the best ones--they're higher end fashion.

Great idea.
It's really irritating to see no eye(-lid) and the inversion of the repeating dots
does emphasize this irritation even more. 
Last but not least i really like it, because there are soooooooo many eye-close-up-shots on
DA, it's great that there's somebody kinda breakin with this in such a creative way...hehe

Interesting shot, what I look at first in this photograph is the eye, I think the idea of that makeup is very nice, the negativity from the eye-lid to the cheek. Also I think negativity is what means the most in this shot, what would make me say that the color of the lips is a bit misplaced, I think it would make the shot more βcompleteβ with black lipstick or something like that.
Another think I like a lot about this shot is the end of the cheek, the fadeout you have there, looks very nice.
I see this shot as being very fashionable, and the coloring is superb, great work

love the contrast with the pink lipstick.
the make up looks more of an actor in a classic play than fashion imho. I like the almost typographical composition of the work. this "typo" feel is highlighted by the strong contrasts in the make up.
