If there is one photo that sums me up as a person...voila. (self-p)I think it represents my duality...the right side is clean and bright...the left is more dirty and hidden...
Someone used to call me the modest exhibitionist....an oxymoron for sure...c'est moi.
Humble and hungry for criticism is why I am posting so much work lately...but there is that dark side that may exist in the feminine mindset (overgenerlization- I know) that is screams look over here... look at who I am and what I have to offer. Yet again, i am shy about divulging too much....A strange duality that rends me, but allows me see both sides of most issues.

Hey, beautiful as always... but this is different... in a way it's even more intimate than all your other photos. Because you chose to share something deeper. It's all in your eyes.
I understand exactly what you're talking about... duality, even ambivalence is something i live everyday, as also shown in my logo.
You remind me of Muslim women that I so often see in my country... their bodies, faces, identity covered up. Makes me wonder who they really are... deep inside.

I love the fact that the eyes don't stare back at you but some where off camera .. kinda gives it more of a reason to wonder what she is thinking. And the colours... the colours set it off perfectly.

you aren't the only person, especially female, who at wants to be the "center of attention" but then remains a complete mystery, even to those close to her. it's understandable, especially to those that may have had their trust betrayed at one point or another and that makes them feel less than what they really are... less self esteem. it takes a lot to open up after that point. but in that retrospect, you're lucky because you can see both sides... no matter what the subject... and it's good because the duality makes you modest. my girlfriend is just that way and i try to be good to her and cater to her wants and needs... and my reward is her opening up to me like she has with no other.
you're humble and hungry for critcism... maybe you're looking for the answer to a big lingering question. but through my pov you are a "modest exhibitionist"... i think the situation you have found yourself in (re. previous deviations and journal)... and probably other situations in your life that were probably just as disconcerting... has made you that way. you've taken such risque shots but you manage to keep that humble quality... that's only good!

if you're looking for some criticsm you're not gonna find any here... i love your work. and i'm going to jump on the bandwagon... i really love your eyes... eyes are such good things

Very lovely. I can deeply relate with your statement, I've always felt that there is alot of duality in my own personality.
I'm not sure if the duality aspect reads completley in the photo.. maybe if the one 'light' eye had a different, lighter color of make up, Or perhaps if the hand was turned in the other direction, pointing more twards the darker side.
Not to say that i dont absolutely think this is a gourgeous shot, which it is. Just offering up the floatsom in my head
