I am bad for submitting this...but there is something about it i really like.grain intentional
I often try to reduce form into into basic elements and this is an interesting thing to do with nudes.
Taken in a hotel room in NYC. Light source above bed frame, which created the contrasty shadows.
I love when people see things I do not in my images....justthorne [link] said thiis looks like she is skiiing....by golly, I think it does!

even though the picture is of a (might I add, very hot) nude woman that ... looks inviting, to say the least...
the colors, the shadows... and the fact that it was taken in a NYC hotel room makes it feel so lonely, isolate, cold...
I feel a more 'contrast in feelings' rather than anything else when I look at this photograph.

I agree- the curve in the legs makes ths what it is. I also like the many shadows on the walls comming from the hands. Why would you be bad for posting this? I think it's amazing!

amazing, the shadow play here and the way the figure itself has been reduced to simple but beautiful elements. the visible spinal texture, the sleek hair and the overall slightly awkward curve of her body. the way she rests in such a voluptuous and pliable surface makes for an intriguing contrast with the hard wall as a background.

ok, another fan of the image!
I love the shadows cast from the arms! Did you try any with completely blacking out her, creating just a silhouette of the female form while leaving the shadows as-is. I think it might be worth a try. I mean it's sensual now, but i think it might be more alluring if it was more suggestive on her form. Great job!!

That's so interesting. The first thing I thought of when I saw this in the thumbnail was "is that someone skiing or are they standing on sheets?!" It took me a few seconds to process it. Heh, no wonder justthorne and I get along, we think alike
