I am bad for submitting this...but there is something about it i really like.grain intentional
I often try to reduce form into into basic elements and this is an interesting thing to do with nudes.
Taken in a hotel room in NYC. Light source above bed frame, which created the contrasty shadows.
I love when people see things I do not in my images....justthorne [link] said thiis looks like she is skiiing....by golly, I think it does!

It's ironic, I don't find it hot/sexy/erotic at all, in the best possible way. It's like, to me, this isn't at all ABOUT it being a nude, but rather just perfect because clothes would almost certainly have gotten in the way.
The dynamism and energy in this is fantastic. The combination of wave form of your body and emanating shadows on the wall make this vibrant with life and crackle with energy. (Esp. cool to pull off among the relatively mute tones.) And it would be easy for a viewer to connote either conflict or harmony as it suit him - both interps could be so rich here.
I saw that mermaid comment above, and yes, that's a powerful connotation. I see some primal cat in it too. Such a fabulous pose.
I'm just finding this so wildly successful I'm really hard-pressed to explain it. I'm sure the hands enter into it, and the radiance of light. Is it for the feet "missing," and that the hands pressed against the wall become the foundation, and the whole image seems to defy gravity in response?
All I can tell you is that there's just some design charisma about these contours and lines that is beneath explanation, and I would surely not change a THING about this.
I didn't come here to fave this, but I really can't help myself. It's just TOO outstanding.

The contrast is interesting here between the figure, almost bound with the hard shadows that seem to rise from the bed to her hands on the wall, as though holding her there. Add to that the posture, the spine almost writhing ... all this against the billowy white of the bed all around. Striking. Hard/soft and light/dark. Well balanced.

How do you find such amazing lighting? This is truly beautiful, the lights and dark balance is excellent. She seems so innocent, and still so attractive. The rays of light that are split to her sided do look like wings, but her dark face and legs make her look like a devil. Her unique pose makes this all the more intriguing, her gentle curving is excellent. You are not bad for submitting this, it is beautiful and beauty shuoldn't be hidden.

i think this is awesome - the pose is fabulous and the jumbled up soft flooring of bed pillows.......the rays of shadow coming from her hands really does give nice lines and lets the hues/light play so well- her hair is awesome.....

cheeky. i love the pose and the lighting, and the dark bluish tones. the composition is awesome but i wouldnt mind if the image was a little crisper, or more specifically, the lines outlining the shape of her body, particularly the left thigh. it makes my eyes feel kinda weird!

I love the model in this, you almost could not go wrong with any nude of her, but I want the light path to illuminate her face too. A second light source on the face (may) have made this even more spectacular.
