Description
Do you think it is possible to have an " architectural photography" addiction?Or is it just taking pictures of amazing, man-made enclosed spaces that are visually appealing and can let the mind run free with possibilities?
Either way, i am drawn to the the idea of giving a glimpse into sub-terranian worlds.

I am in complete awe of every single thing you submit. This is simply amazing. I like your description allot too. I think what I like most about this one is how close it feels to the ceiling. Great work.

I do think you have a bit of an addiction lorraine, but that addiction has led to much beuty. I had never really seen what amazing things are to be seen in the city, or in mass repetition in architecture.
You make me conflicted, though, as I used to beleive all true beuty was from nature alone. Apparently, though, mathematics can be art. Thank you.

Maybe you were a subway operator in your past life?
The design and colors of the ceiling are amazing. Its continuity is mesmerizing. The soft blue/greens are great. Did you use any manipulations in this one?

Ever since I started looking at your work.. I've been noticing more and more beauty in simple things. I look around me and notice lines and shapes that I've never noticed before. You're such an inspiration to me.

....I think the answer to your question would be a resounding yes.... You find a way of seeing power and lonliness in your images. The space is the character. In a way...it's a portrait. And you do this oh so very well....
a beautiful image.....

Simply amazing! Reminds me of my first time stepping in this station and how it impressed me.
If the subway here in Berlin would look like that I would definetly use it more often, even if it's dark and smelly

w00t! This is awesome! I think there is an addiction, myself. But 12 steps just isn't enough . That blue tone in there is grat, and the perspective even better. Damn good capture you have here.

There's no such thing as too much architectural photography! You are right. Of all the arts, architecture expresses something much greater than ourselves, something that speaks to all that we can be and achieve. With architecture we create monuments to nature, to our hopes and dreams. With architecture we pay homage to God and His creation. So, yeah, keep taking those pictures!

Architect beauty or the beauty of buildings is no fad. Seven Wonders of the world and other scenic places all demonstrate great artistic skills. Too bad in some cities, ahem Cincinnati, are tearing down all the old art gems.
Great shot and it looks more realistic just the way you shot it. Love those converging lines vanishing off to who knows where.

Yay! Another of DC!
I have a ton of pictures of this building which was across the street from where I lived. It had such cool architecture, so I had different shots in different seasons and all. My roommate thought I was nuts
I love this, though. The structure looks really neat in this shot--it's as cool as it looks in person.
