This is such an amazing shot....is that girl the mother? I know it's possible. But, anyways, I love how you caught the emotions. She has a look on her face as though she is sad, but a look in her eyes that shows she is strong. I both admire and pitty the children in foreign countries who have no home, no food, no shelter. It's saddening, yet strengthening. Knowing if they can live through such a terrible thing as this, your life really isn't as bad as you thought, and you can get through your problems, too. It's so sad that a child is starving wile another one somewhere else is complaining about not having a Gameboy or an Xbox 360. Many people want to help these starving children, but seldom ever do. I pray that God will help them and lead them to a better place.

this picture really speaks volumes. not only is it a lovely photo asthectically [sp?] but it potrays real feeling. poverty is a horrible thing and it's scary to know that most people world live in poverty. good job

this is a very emotional image....i feel the pain and hurt...the poverty..that our world has....the usa is somewhat lucky..there are so many kids in other counties starving and have no families or are a parent at a young age..hurts.I wish for world hunger to end...would be the best thing that ever happen..or for world peace..The other night i watched a documentary on Korea....so many little orphans there...they dont have families or food...usa gives them some food and they place it on the blackmarket and give it to there army the children never get the food unless they have money or find a scrap of it on the ground. The preseident of Korea is the next Hitler. Ihate him! if i could I would love to help those children.god Bless every child!

Good Lord, that look in her eyes....it brings tears to my eyes. I want to hold her, and the baby and whisper that everything will be alright, even knowing it to be a lie. Nothing is ever alright....Jesus, it calls me to prayer, something I rarely do these days...one has to wonder, what became of them...

Looking at this picture makes me feel very very sad!! What are we doing?! Getting richer and richer, but are we happy? Its better to invest in the lives of children in the poor countries!! Gives them a chance for the future!! This is such a great picture!!! Full of emotion!

Yes! your right, This is so impressive not only the way you capture this but also the way you express your concern. I mean it really is poverty that kills children all over the world most especially in the third world country. Children here are still lucky they have government that look after them. In a third world country their government is the one that kills them.
