Description
Sleepless at night,She rests unrestfully in daylight,
Only to be startled with amorphous visions
Of her complicity in horrid plots,
Of icky creatures tasting her flesh,
Of childhood traumas she tries to forget,
Of reduntant and eternal disappointments,
Of her victimhood in unspeakable crimes,
And of the thought that she will never sleep tight again.
Inspired by my own incessant and vivid nightmare world.

I love the eye make up, give it a Buster Keaton/Charlie Chaplin cinematic feel. The frame work coming out of the top of her head like antenna dwarf you as well making you more vulnerable.

I love it- the image reminds me of a silent movie.. it is incredibly classic- from the clear black and white to the model's perfect expression of semi-comedic, waking shock.
Every time I look at it, I keep expecting the screen to become text frame, to continue the story and tell us what woke her/will happen next...

hah I love the expression. The repeat in the curves of the photo are really well done. Have the close up curves of the front of the bed which lead you to the back ones.

Wow - this is amazing... I love the huge bed, with it's big metal frame work around one small and frightenend person... You've captured a moment - her quickly sitting up from a nightmare... dazed for a minute wondering where she is for a second. And the poem is great... everything is perfectly vivid...

Ok first I love how you have the shot from the end of the bed. I mean what's the first place you look toward when you start from a dream? Straight down to the end of your bed. Because everyone knows bad things always appear there first

lol you sure that's you? You look a lot younger than usual
But yeah, it's a great pic and the symetry idea has worked out perfectly. I guess a slight nag about it is the heavy greytones in the floral...curtain...thingies. Maybe if there wasn't a pattern on them it wouldnt be too overwhelming. They just tend to hide the fact that you're in the bed, that's all. It also could just be me.
I dunno if it's intended, but the iron bed frame looks like wings behind you

This is just perfect! The symmetry of the bedframe and the model's hairdo is so great, and I love the floral pattern of the drapes in the background.
The expression is great, and the strong makeup around the eyes really helps to bring it out. This looks like it should be a cartoon or something, it's wonderful!

Again, your image speaks.... What I like is not just the clarity of it, but then your eye goes to the swirling metal lines streaming from your head and surround you....that for me is where the subtle poetry in this image lay....
