Description
My OCs are back, new and improved! A main reason I wanted to change them is because I wasn’t happy with the way they turned out, especially after the episode Outfoxed showed us what a fox looks like in the show’s style. So, I thought out a way to revise them, and here they are: Ruby the fire fox and Sally, Ruby’s ferret friend.

Ruby is a two-tailed fox who was the princess of Volcano Lake. She has dark orange fur, black ears with pink and dark mauve insides and brownish eyes. She also has black fingertips, black lower legs and two tails. She wears a dark red cropped long-sleeved shirt with gold trimmings and a gold collar. Her bottoms consist of matching shorts with a gold belt that has a ruby gemstone in it, plus a dark purple cloth with red edges.

Ruby is seen as a smart and brave vixen with a few quirky traits to her. She's shown to be open to new things and new people, as she seemed to be okay with the people of Pure Heart Valley. She might be a music lover because she got to know the kingdom better through a musical number. However, Ruby also has pretty violent ways of expressing whenever she's angry, such as setting things on fire. She and Sally are also classified as the goofballs of the team because they both have a very wild sense of humor. Generally, though, Ruby is a clever and confident character with a couple of perky traits.

She cares very deeply about Sally due to them having known each other for a while, and because of Sally's weak leg bones. The two feel like they wouldn't last without each other because they sometimes even defend each other.

As for Mao Mao and his group, Ruby met them while first passing Pure Heart Valley. She and Sally went on a destroying spree because while struggling to grow on her own more, she was feeling very homesick. Badgerclops and Adorabat took an instant liking to Ruby despite her treatment of them when she first met them. While the former was impressed by her pyrokinesis ability, the latter was squealing over how cool she thought she was.

Ruby is the daughter of the king of Volcano Lake, a hot civilization in a place full of volcanoes, as the name suggests. Growing up, she couldn't control her fire abilities too well, and this was the kind of thing that made those around her decide she was unfit to rule. Choosing her brother Topaz to take their father’s place, they banished Ruby from her home, along with a superpowered ferret that had traveled all the way to the kingdom. Following their eviction, Ruby learned to gain better control of her powers, and Sally got used to use his bell for the benefit of his friend and himself. Eventually, the two found themselves taking a liking to Pure Heart Valley, and that's where you can find them to this day.

As for Sally (real name Salvatore Laetitia Gwyneth Weaselton IV), he is a ferret with dark brown and white fur and light blue eyes. Due to the weak bones in his legs, he wears gold bands on them. He also wears a bronze yellow collar with the light brown bell that gives him his earth abilities.

He's really loyal to Ruby, and he's a very intelligent ferret. His collar gives him the ability to manipulate the earth, and it also lets him melt himself into a liquid mass. He can regenerate himself, but only if he's collected into a single puddle. His leg bones are weak, so he has to wear the gold bands on them to prevent them from getting injured. It's still unknown by many how he got his bell. Usually, he's well behaved, but he's also seen as crazy and boyish. Like Ruby, his sense of humor tends to be out of control, and when he teams up with Adorabat, it's double pranking trouble...

Here is some trivia about them:
- Ruby was originally going to be Indonesian, but I scrapped that because I felt it wasn’t accurate to Indonesian culture. This is not the first time I’ve had to revise something I thought up because of cultural insensitivity.
- Ruby's headcanon voice actress is Brenda Song and Sally's is Caety Sagoian.
