I dont think they have anyones permission, but they did make the images clickable to the original sources so i guess its an exposure feature more than anything else. Thanks for the heads up though.

its primarily created in C4D and has a lot of light/color manipulation done in photoshop

I hope you don't mind, but I realllllly liked this A LOT but my screen is 1920x1200 so I made it into a wallpaper and edited the image by filling in the extra space and it looks totally natural <3
