Description
For all LOST fans around the world - here is another deviation of my little series with my favorite characters!The one and only Kate!
Katherine "Kate" Austen is a character on this television series , played by Evangeline Lilly. She is the female leading character.
"Who are you"
A traditional handmade drawing with soft pastels, pastel pencils, charcoal,indian ink,mech.pencils H,3H,HB,B and acrylic
on heavy weight illustration board.

Ist doch egal wie lange du brauchst - Kunst braucht ihre gewisse Zeit!
Sind übrigens hauptsächlich Pastell Bildchen, weniger Bleistift als du vielleicht denkst!

naja jeder entwickelt nach eingiger zeit so seine eigene kleine technik gibt zwar grundtechnicken aber wenn ich ehrlich bin hab ich mich noch nie darum gekümmert.

Bin zwar kein LOST Fan aber ich muss sagen das is dir hervorragend gelungen! Nicht nur Kate sondern auch der ganze Hintergrund, die Wellen, die Wolken und der Sand!

Ich danke dir wieder einmal für die netten Worte.
Ich muß sagen, das Wasser könnte noch ein paar Details vertragen - aber ich habe mich dafür entschieden es jetzt so zu lassen.Irgendwann hast du dann einfach den Punkt erreicht, wo dir ein Bild "nichts mehr bringt" und du keine Lust mehr hast noch etwas zu korrigieren.

I do not watch Lost but I still can appreciate the fine quality of your work on this portrait!! Gorgeous shading and the backround is beautiful. I like this pose too, not easy but interesting for the composition!

I'm always stunned by the amount of details you are able to do with pastels. I always found them very difficult to control but you make them seem so easy and natural to use. My deepest compliments

I draw since 2005 only with soft pastels - it was a long way for me to reach this results!

I love this series, this picture and everything I've seen so far from you. I'd like to second the request for a picture of Caprica 6 from Battlestar Gallactica: Reimagined. Perhaps whispering into the ears of one Gius Baltar. Such an amazing series, brilliantly written, acted and directed. You, I believe could do it justice.
