Thanks! They where all separate photos and I just combined them all in photoshop.

I just took a series of photos, and then in photoshop I just stacked them on top of each other. I make the layers a little transparent so I could line them all up. I erased the area where the bird was on all the layers above it so it would show through. I cropped the image down so it has nice even edges. Once the all that was done I edited the image as a whole for color and contrast.
