Inktober 2023, Day 3- PathI think I could make nearly every entry for Inktober 2023 Hollow Knight fanart. I’ve been resisting the urge for the sake of variety, but it won out today. I immediately thought of Greenpath when I saw the prompt. I had fully intended to color this with gel pens, but I ran into some technical difficulties and eventually ran out of time. I might revisit this one in the future and color it in, but I’m afraid this is it for now.
I used a Pentel Finito for this. It’s a pen I rarely use, but it got some exercise today and it felt nice. I like using brush pens because of the line variety and you can cover a lot of ground quickly, but unless you’re making a large drawing, you can only go into so much detail. It was nice to use a felt tip pen and have a lot of control for once. But then it get harder to limit myself. XD I’m a detail fiend, and if I had unlimited time and ink, I would probably keep working on the same drawing forever. Like, I would keep going until the drawing was literally just a solid sheet of ink that starts ripping under the weight of all that moisture. That’s how hopeless I am. I got problems. 🤣
