also i had a question, just a curiosity really. But i was wondering whether you ever watched movies by michel ocelot? Ever since i was a kid i've been watching his movies (which are in french) with subs and i was wondering whether in the french context he's well known? ...i really love his movies cause of the beautiful animation and sometimes your drawings give me a similar feel so i thought maybe you also watched them?

Kirikou? Prince et Princesse? Les contes de la nuit??? Azur et Asmar????? Yes of course I watched his movies And I reall love it! the simplicity of the character design and the details of the backgrounds! <3 I really love his work and he is well known here in France yes! In the city I am there is even a painting of kirikou, look HERE  XD Though, as much it's part of my childhoos, I don't know how you my drawings can be... "similar"????

Aaaahh im so happy to hear that!! My heart always breaks when i talk about his movies and no one knows what im talking aboht because i really love them theyre so good *sob* Also your city is so cool for having that... and im not sure how to describe it i think its in the way you use your watercolors and the tiny white dots you draw... my favorite movie is princes and princesses and the backgrounds in some of them give me a similar vibee i guess?? (Its a compliment i swear)

XD welp must of us here know his movies, at least kirikou cause it was very very famous My city here is also known as the comic's city There is one of the biggest comic festival fo  France ^^ So there is... painting of many comics and stuff like that in the entire city
XDDD Why not?! I mean... I feel it's so different from his work that is just... fuckin amazing work???? XD mine is ... yes tiny and detailes but XD damn so silyl comapred to his work!

welp. time to learn french and flippin' move. I wish there were cities like that in italy, at least i can drown my sorrow here in the food. And well im not saying your works are the same. Your style is yours and only yours (a very unique and admirable style btw) but i guess it gives me the same dream dream feels ya know? And sometimes in the way the colors are used... also while i agree your works can sometimes be silly (hinthintangrycendreinabathtub) they're beautifully silly. uwu
