Description

I was going to make a cute picture of RH in socks today, but instead I spent the whole day making a tutorial. You're welcome O-o

Other Tutorials for how to use bases: ilovesonik.deviantart.com/art/…  ilovesonik.deviantart.com/art/…

It seems confusing and hard and like a lot of information, but it's really easy. Like, when I animate it takes me about 20 min to make the base look like a pony, and then about 5 min to animate it So don't think it's too hard or takes too long.

Some more things,

That OC is a Request, it's 's OC clapping as a request ^-^

MAKE SURE THE ICON IS EXACTLY 50X50 PIXELS. Don't crop it to the pony if it's smaller! If you want to make it an icon or plz account it has to be 50 x 50 pixels, because DeviantART can't resize animated icons.

I hope this all makes sense, and have fun animating!

I might make more tutorials, like how to make plz icons, and one of how to draw Rainbow Heart, because a lot of people get some details wrong. So stay tuned

This tutorial is cool.
It's well explained and looks very simple at the end. I'm sure one can succeed in creating a gif in a very few attempts with this tutorial.
But I do not have PS, which means I'll have to forget about having a pony gif.
Or beg people.

Anyway, you did a good job on this one ! You can make other tutorials to explain us your stuff.

;D; Ik, I was thinking of making a tutorial on how to make bases THE EASIEST WAY with photoshop, but I don't wanna make more tutorials right now xD

Whenever I look up tutorials on easy ways to make bases, they're all the same. Get a pony picture, put lines over it, erase everything else, which takes HOURS. But I figured out if you use Photoshop, or really any program that has 'Layers', then you just put the picture on it, make a new layer, draw over the picture, delete the picture, copy the lines and paste it in paint, and use the curve line tool to make the lines smooth and perfect. It looks awesome and takes about... 20-45 min depending on the base. :3 I just did 2 couples bases in 2 hours. ;3;

Which look awesome ! I use base for proportional references only but it could help a lot of people to see how you do it.

Yeah, I used to always use bases because I sucked at drawing pony bodies, but now I draw them but I use references alot
