I feel like there's an interesting story behind this with the movement of falling and the sleeping pills, but I can't quite figure it out. Either way, rather unsettling, but very well done drawing!

I know Im a bit late with this one... Busy with classwork.Β This one looks great though!Β I can see that you are drifting away from cleanliness of lines and more toward using value to bring out your shapes.Β Awesome stuff!Β I have tried this too many times and my OCD wont let me.Β Still, another amazing pic from you.Β I need to work on my speed if stuff like this only takes you a couple hours.Β I can assure you it takes me nearly twice as long to color the same pic.Β I got an idea for you, since I know you're all about educating the people.Β I'll hit you up later!

So is the painting of it all done on one layer, do you use some kind of filter options or something on the shading?
With my art, I have a tuff time trying to make things smooth.Β I don't know if its because I use photoshop or because I just don't know how to use the tools right.
I will have to look at your vids more carefully later on.

nah, it was 2.5X speed, so it took me like an hour and 15 to do that. But i did more to the picture so in total like about 2 hours.
The background is one layer as far as the colors cept for the harsh lighting, could be another layer merged down onto the background
There prolly is a filter layer there- sorry i didnt mention thattt, well if there was, id make aΒ luminosity layer above the back ground paint- then paint using yellow for the bottom part of the background(the harsh lighting)- then id merge down the layer into the background. You might water tool the rest if you want the light to reach further up or wherever it needs to go- i could make a tut on that actually, itll be a good idea 
Photoshop brushes are definitely different, but they can be modified to doing somewhat similar strokes, but i dunno about blending- i still use ps7- itll takes muscle memory and understanding of light for the most part and understanding shape and how they interact.

I want you to look carefully as you say- but at the same time, i dont want you to have so much a hard time either. Ill see what i can do soon, got some stuff to work on.
