Description
Myself.aka. Izzie, or Izadora.
Download for crazy details.
If you steal my design, expect many unhealthy ninja visits.
For a long time I've had an idea of what my actual muse was, the creature that drives me and flits through my artistic mind.
Here "we" are.
In case you're wondering,
I don't know how old she is.
She is a fawn colored Angora/Maine Coon mix.
She has three faint cream rings around her tail.
Yes those are little fawn/pan horns. I'm rather fond of them.
She does not have any known magic abilities.
She's big, like Blytzen. They're both a little smaller than a racoon, or half the size of a golden retriever.
She's very intelligent, and curious. She's constantly on a hunt for answers to her many questions and wonderings about life, and is a fount of random information. She's warm and caring, but knows when a firm paw is needed.
She's particularly fond of muffins.
She and Blytzen are lifelong friends. Where Blytzen is the prankster, Izzie is more grounded and sweet, but still knows how to cause some good mischief.
Izzie would be the one perched on Nyxen's head, keeping an eye out for people and places of interest; while Blytzen would be the one batting at the elusive misty tail.
So yup, there's me in a nutshell! She's not open for RP because I don't have time, but we'd both have fun playing with your characters, as is Blytzen.
What I'm proud of: the entire head- contouring, eyes, whiskers, ears, etc., feet, horns.
Time taken- roughly six hours- a "quickie" for me.
Photoshop CS3 and mouse.

That's exactly what I was going for, to try and emulate her gentleness. Thank you so much. (wow uber late reply lol)

Your detail on the head - especially the eyes, ears, whiskers, nose/nose shading/coloring - is simply amazing. The paws also turned out magnificent. Her fur looks very realistic, props to you! I really enjoy this piece - my favorite of yours recently.

Wow, thank you so much Reffy. Your comment is really encouraging. This piece didn't take as long as some of my other ones, but the time I did put in was packed full with hard work. I think I learned a lot, and got to know a new brush that I really like. And I made it myself! I based it off of one of the PS watercolor brushes, but altered it a lot. You see the result here.
I like the detail too, I love doing fur this way because the contours of the muscles underneath really come through. I don't think it would work for shin-skinned horses, but perhaps a horse in it's winter coat.

You are very welcome, glad I could be of help.
I have to learn to expand to different brushes - I'm just a whimp when it comes to exploring new things on CS2. Lol. Perhaps I shall try a couple new ones with my next work, seeing as yours turned out so great. Maybe I have a chance! hahaha. <3

Haha, don't worry, I'm not getting any digital work up until December, and I'm even entering 6 of my horses into the HARPG annual show! All I can do is plan now and wait until finals are over!

It looks like oodles of fun; I'm especially excited about the prizes! !
I'm entering 6 of my 11 horses at A.W.S.: Jade Princess (Fancy Dress), Hildebrand (Native Dress Ridden Arabian Stallion), Ohem (halter unicorn), Splatter (halter colors), Eclipse (halter crossbred stallion) and Dare Me JoeHazard (racing of course)!!
I really hope Joe takes it for racing; he deserves it. I'm looking forward to working on Jade, too. Her costume is jousting-oriented!
Oh, and don't even get me started on Hildebrand's costume. !! That's gonna be a pain to get just right!

I think this is my most favorite thing that you've ever done. Seriously. I LOVE her face so much! The eyes are just gorgeous, the ears and whiskers are adorable... gah. And the wee little horns!
My one critique is that as detailed as her face is, she seems to lose some substance at her tail. If you were going for that, great.
Hehe, I love the little cupcake under her butt too. XD

thanks!!!!!!!!! I really really like how the horns came out, and I think I really captured her character here.
And I see what you mean about the tail, the misty stuff covered up a little bit, but you're right there wasn't much definition there to begin with. It's just...draped there, hanging out with the stump.
and do you see any frosting on that "cupcake"? -hounds you with flaming muffins-

You're welcome, babe. Really, this is a huge improvement in your work.

I think we're gonna have to agree to disagree on this one. Whiskers will be whiskers, darned little things.
Thank you so much for your critique!
