Here's my finished cover of the Micah S. Harris' pulp novel, THE ELDRITCH NEW ADVENTURES OF BECKY SHARP. This was a challenge for me because I was coloring in Photoshop over the tonal pencils I prepared. I've never tried to color over pencil graytones before, so this was something new for me. I'm pleased with the results though. This should make for an eye-catching cover when the logo is added.My thanks and appreciation goes out to my friends Carter, Andrew Park, Korintic, Inkthinker, dfbovey, G-Man, e_t_i_, and all the guys on PencilJack who gave me good advice on how to approach the colors. It really helped having you guys in my corner.
While I was working on the Cthulhu idol/obelisk behind Becky, I was listening to Audio Realms' DARK WORLDS OF H.P. LOVECRAFT, Volume 6: AT THE MOUNTAINS OF MADNESS, read by Wayne June. That was a great source of inspiration as for me as well! You know, after some thinking and consideration from my part, this lady reminds me of Marilyn Monroe. This is mostly due to her smile and blonde hair, not to mention she looks SEXY in red!
I assume this Becky Sharp lady is some kind of gun for hire or simply a woman who takes matters into her hands when threatened by her enemies? 
Perhaps Becky Sharp was a normal woman or a model-turned-crimefighteress or whatever, doesn't matter... what matters is that she looks very beautiful and sexy while packing heat plus busting heads and taking names!

Yeah, this is awesome. I love coloring over tones. It almost makes the coloring seem easier since your light source is already established.
