Veteran comic colorist, Matt Webb (NEXT MEN, FLESH & BLOOD) added some hues to my Colossus vs Juggernaut illustration. It has an "old school" feel that I like! Hope you like it too!Related content

I worked for a district manager who loved Juggernaut and even had a poster of him in the break room. I always love seeing Juggernaut getting his ass kicked. High Five!

LOL! You know, there was a time when only the Hulk could hope to beat the Juggernaut. Today's Juggy does seem to be a little watered down, doesn't he? Or is it that today's heroes are that much more powered-up? Hmm.

Yeah, I understand that. My first exposure to Colossus was the Ultimate comics, which has my personal favorite costumes as a while for the X-Men.

This is an awesome piece! The coloring aside, the line art is great! the inking on the rubble is outstanding, dude! You have go to teach me that! The coloring is spo on! makes me want to go read the classic xmen! Why cant comics look like his today? I hope an like minded editor sees this and gets you on a book doing it right!

Funny, I was just reading the X-Men where the new guys (as they were then) went up against Juggernaut in Banshee's Irish castle. Great stuff (if I don't think too much about Nightcrawler being rescued by the 'little people') and if I could capture half the excitement I had then (way back in '76) for Marvel now I'd be more than happy.
Great pic and, as you say, a great 'old school' feel.
