No, hair cuts are not like self harm. Do hair cut's make you bleed? Do they make you skinny? Do they make you have cut's littering your body? No, they don't It's just Hair; It grows back. But guess what doesn't grow back? the skin that we cut and made scar.So no. It's nothing like self-harm.

But, here's the thing. Pulling your hair out is still self harm. Maybe people cut their hair short or go bald to not self harm.

I completely agree with you. Pictures like this make people ignorant to the severity of cutting. This says 'hair cuts' not 'pulling hair out'. If this referred to hair pulling in the self harm sense, then the artist description wouldn't make any sense.

every kind os self inflicted phisycal pain is considered self harm, and since pulling out your hair hurts, (you might know how it feels) it is also considered self harm

Actually drastic changes in appearance can be seen as a sign of depression. and what's more drastic than cutting off a large amount of hair - as seen in this picture.

I've done that, mmy hair reached my shoulders and i chopped it to my jaw line out of emotions one day, i felt better for the rest of the day then was depressed again at the damage, at least i can cut hair so it looked nice just was rather cold cause my neck was exposed.
