Unicorn TwiDash always has this sweet feel to it. As an alicorn, Twilight Sparkle can already be in the sky with Dashie, even if she isn't good at flying.
When she's a unicorn, though, there's the difficulty of Rainbow Dash not being able to share that part of herself, and of Twilight yearning to follow her into the sky (or marveling at her amazing flight from the perspective of someone who cannot take the sky for her own, or feeling there's some separation between them because of that, or perhaps Twilight's flightlessness serves to emphasize their equal/opposite relationship-- Rainbow Dash:Flight, Twilight Sparkle:Magic).
That's just something sweet and pure about it that just doesn't feel the same with alicorn TwiDash (which has an entirely separate, wonderful appeal of its own).

woa...this couple was sort of unexpected to discover. the first ones i found was Princess Luna X Twilight which i kind of guest was about to happen to them after Nightmare Night when Twilight became her close friend. But how did these two end up together? XD

I do, but I have the short term memory of a goldFish. That, and recently finished reading through both this years and last years journals for it, which means that I am kinda confused on who is where. XP
