Description A wall themed on three elements - fire, water and earth.

Yeah I know I left out air... but I preferred a more triangular design for this .

LightWave + Photoshop.

I do a lot of interface development.
Some of it is very cutting edge 3D stuff and has gotten much praise.

This has just given me some extra inspiration. It's beautiful and I fucking love it. You've inspired me to upload some work that I wouldn't normally, just to get in on the action.

Well done.

minimal and attractive, I think this looks very good.
I agree that the triangular composition works well and I think your 2D and colour use is strong.

Do you have it in a higher resolution ?
2560*960 would be good, but 1280*960 will do

Sorry... I was a bit careless, and didn't make it in a higher res. I'll be sure to make my next one much bigger.

Very nice work. I like the clean tech feel to this (and some other work of yours). What kind of modelling method do you use? Is it NURBS or SDS?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

loth In reply to harlequin11 [2004-01-20 02:44:07 +0000 UTC]

Mainly nurbs. But whatever technique gets me the object shape I want most easily... and quickly. I dunno... most object are pretty routine now.. you can use a similar technique for so many models... which I why I like to model things that don't exist... force myself to use more tools, and find new methods.
