Description
So, here is some new stoff for my BA.I have almost never drawn or painted mech and technichal stuff. But i wanted a mech in my ba so badly, that i tried it. I had lot of fun creating it and it will be definitely not the last one.

I highly recommend took look up some heavy industry machines for example a digger or maybe a bulldozer. Depending on how your mech should look like.

How do you feel about this image being used in a book promotion? Β (As part of a book video trailer advertising the book.)

I have something like that coming out in 2014. Β But no, this is a book trailer promoting a new book titled Atlas Down, a fiction science fiction novel. Β I am looking for illustrations to give hints at what is inside the book, nothing more. Β
But you would surely be credited if your images were used. Β
Like a film trailer, a book trailer that uses collective worls should have a credits page. Β
This trailer has a scrolling credits section as in most films. Β It will give detialed image credits. Β If you want a professional site linked etc. Β That is fine.Β
But this is a preliminary question. Β I just don't have talent for illustration myself. Β I look for folks who have real talent and hope to get them their well deserved attention while hoping to promote my writing. Β

Interesting looking mech, I like the versatility of it, and the leg design. Though I've never been to fond of large, glass cockpits on war machines. You should try experimenting with an armored chassis that implements cameras and other optics.

the thing is, its not a war machine. its a mining mech. though possible falling stones and stuff could damage the glass.
its an interesing point to avoid glass and replace it with armor plates and cams. thx for the idea!

Now that is pretty cool. So r they like mining machines only or what? I mean, they do look like it if u think of it bcuz the 1st 1 has a punksher drill bit which breaks through like ore or rocks u know, and the 2nd 1 looks like possibly lifting stuff in a way, and the 3rd 1 of meant 4 grabbing stuff and also maybe punkshering some holes in the ore or rocks u know. But nicely done, I pretty amazed u did such a awesome artwork so detailed.

Yea I thought so 2, but I I said the 2nd one the same thing but just wanna say the 3rd one a different style type mode 4 them each have the own abilities u know. But yea, I agree with u on that 1.

i've read mechs wouldnt be efficient in battle. sad but true. too big target, too low armor, too expensive.
maybe they would be more effective in very specific operations but not in the open field.

Ya, from what I've seen - most are light duty semi-low profile & very maneuverable, drive by wire - for use in very dangerous situations.
