Description
Navigating the realms of lightI have been shaping up on my knowledge of lucid dreaming and am once again using it as a source of artistic inspiration
In a single moment of dream time, my visual perception witnessed a vast luminous landscape, I managed to stare at the scenery for a good amount of time without losing focus.
I was able to do this because of a great insight I read the night before in the book " Are you dreaming" When we project our vision of an imaginary world, each moment of dream time is actually an entirely new rendering of that previously imagined scene, which is why it can be hard to stablise dream perception and environments.
If our focus and attention shifts so does the dream....so in this dream I managed to keep a very stable image of this vast, luminous shimmering world pictured in this painting.... which was very inspiring to say the least!
I also realised while painting, that by entering a similar state of mind and consciously rendering this landscape, I am still able to maintain the lucidity of this imaginary world, it is permanently burned into my mind! What I have created with this piece is now a semi-permanent portal for other peoples consciousness to navigate through.
Enjoy
If you are interested in learning more about lucid dreaming, I highly recommend the book "Are you dreaming" by Daniel Love, it really is proving to be a insightful resource for my own experiments

It's really beautiful.
I used to have fun creeping out the people around me... I'll tell you how
When you become lucid/aware, just intent for the person you want to find to Enter trough the door for example. This is your projection of this person.
Now you can do 2 things:
- Grab him/her just above the elbows and tell him/her to take you to the real person. You'll notice this soft vibrating effect of the surroundings and the scenery usually changes. Look around and you should see this person doing their things in their uncontrolled dream, for example carrying boxes, working, jogging, talking to some other projection. PS - Dont forget to ask if he's the real one.
By the way, don't jump and announce he's dreaming or get excited. Keep him/her company and at some point just do something that he/she'll remember the next day, for example: pull his/her ear, or steal his/her one shoe and throw it... We tend to be quite creative there. And of course when you see them - just remind them that you threw their shoe and you know... start laughing at their expression. I have to go, will share the other method soon
Much love ^_^

Hello Louis, it is very beautiful
Regarding lucid dream, I had few ones, lately and found out that it takes much concentration not to loose myself in it, in order to shape it... It feels really fun and also very strange, but much interesting to experience as you have
already done it so many times !
Thanks for sharing your insights with us,
All the Best !

1 i think it is cool you can maintain your lucid dream
2 i think it is cool you can recall this dream at will
3 i like the fact you are using your dreams to create art
4 i do not understand how your dream is a portal to other peoples dreams
5 the lucid dreaming course for artist sounds interesting (not for me; but, for others)
6 i am glad you are using your talents in so many different ways ( it is impressive)

Thanks Robert I meant that the current painting is now a portal for people to enter. By viewing and meditating on the piece they could enter a state of mind similar to mine at the moment of lucidity!
