Hmmmm Hard to answer... Most of the time, I only render my character in Poser. In Nymphe des Grottes, I rendered the stone parts though. I'm careful to choose poses that look realistic, often mix them now. I'm also careful to make sure my characters don't have an empty stare even if I only adjust the expression slightly. I do a lot of trials and renders for the poses. Same with the light, I do a mix of ready to use lights and at times, add to it, save them and reuse them. Always careful to have a back light, one that creates an outline to the body and makes it more three dimensions. I spent some time with Dreamlight to learn about lights, not sure I could teach it but it made me aware. Also, I think why it looks more realistic is I often use photos in the background, stock. I find that for some reason, when I do my backgrounds like that, it turns out more realistic than when I use Poser props, you know ready-made scenes. And I do spend a lot of time in Photoshop for postwork, try a lot of things and maybe there are often happy accidents I wish I could teach it. Maybe it's time I pay more attention to what I do and do a tutorial... The thing is, I improvise a lot and things often happen while I'm doing it I hope that answers your questions?

Glad I could help I also forgot to say that I spend 20 hours or more on each image, why I usually post one image per two weeks most of the time, not one a day
