Thought I would practice on my illustrations. Got tired and so it isn't quite polished as it should be. This is from the tutorial in the October 2004 Computer Arts Mag. To recreate the cover. Added some creative licensing here and there. hehe .

Ok, it is the tutorial! That is very cool. I just got the magazine today actually. I think I will try and do an image like this too. I'll be lucky if it comes out half as good as yours

Fantastic.
Clean lines, excellent color palette, and if I may say without offending anyone, it is refreshing to see some Japanese art that isn't the same tired old anime style of large eyes, spikey hair, etc.
The lines on the dress are especially pleasing.
I'm off to look at all of your work.
