Well, the world that I'm making is kind of an alternate universe set in a futuristic setting.
But a nuclear fallout happened several thousands of years ago, causing the few humans that survived to not be able to talk.
This also resulted in most of the animals to be joined together and have certain abilities.
Well, after thousands of years, the 'humans' and animals relied on each other.
Many of the animals became companions to their human counterparts.
Thrasher and his human Violet are virtually inseparable
Also, the mutated animals can read the humans' mind and talk for them
