(FULL VIEW)Weekos are extremely excitable creatures. Usually found in the white sands of tropical islands such as Bermuda and Hawaii, tripping tourists and grabbing their toes. They love to dance and often sneak in to local clubs in ladies purses, and boogie down until they pass out, and are found the next morning, curled up and sleeping under a barstool.
Weeko is my pride and joy! He's HUGE, and took me three days of working on him to complete. He's 15 inches tall, with a 14 inch wide antler-span.

ive seen some AMAZING monster plush around, but im alllllways lookin. my favorite is cottonmonster.com, though she only really alternates between four different designs, just with different colors & patterns. i could never do that, id go nuts!

I was wondering, how do you get the arms and antlers to stay on? do you use a sewing machine and so forth? I would appreciate it if you could give me some tips, my plushies are still in the simple rounded forms and I do things by hand. I use glue to put things like mouths on and such. You do such a great job, I'd be grateful if you would share your knowledge.

ummm, i use glue for little little bits, like the dots over his eyes and the white pupils
For the arms and antlers, i made the ends a bit longer than they were gonna look like, so I could put that part between the two body pieces, and then I just did a straight stitch over all those three layers a couple of times, and pulled on them to check that they were in securely.

I never thought of using the straight stitch. I didn't think it would work that well... is that how you put on the teeth of your other ones or do you stitch those on as well? I just started out a while ago with the plushies, I'm still trying to find ways of doing stuff ^.^;;

yep! i just straight stitch the top part of them, so they stick out a little like real teeth.

when im sewing the body pieces together i sew them face-to-face, and leave a little hole to turn it inside out, and then turn it inside out. is that what youre asking?

yeah... so how do you sew on the mouths and stuff? Do you do that before you start sewing the rest of the body?

yeah you just sew the pieces on layer by layer to the body pieces before hand, because it would be to awkward to do it after the body pieces were sewn together, though you could probably pull it off. if you get lazy you can always use felt glue. ;D works damn good.
