Whenever there's something incredably creative or bizarre, drugs are always immediately to blame. Some idiots even go on saying, "Wow! Lewis Carroll and Dr. Seuss must have been REALLY high!"
Ugh.
So, nobody can think of anything creative unless under some kind of substance?
Why do some people instantly think that whenever there's anything their not use to in a story, even so much as having a talking dog or something, the person who wrote MUST have been doped up.

Now granted, sometimes I look at something so strange that I might mildly suspect it myself for a minute, and this has been true in some cases.
You mean some of the scripts for Alf were written while the writers were high? COULD'VE FOOLED ME!

This really just annoys me when someone says this about a classic while refusing to admit that maybe they just had an awesome imagination.

Look, I know I suck at being philosophically opinionated and what not, but I'm just a kid. And this is something I notice a lot people say that gets on my nerves a little.

So, here I make my small and pathetic little rant on it, and just leave at that, and never really address it again.
All I know is, if I ever get asked if I was high while writing something (because my stories can be fairly strange as well), this is how I'm gonna reply.
