I do have a suggestion though, I would have cropped the photo so that each eye has equal distance from the eye to the side of the photo, so basically his head would be centered. It would give a much stronger and more meaningful photo, and also I would use the spot tool to clean up the eye goop and to clean up the spots on the eyebrows that are a bit "bald" looking (i've noticed that most dogs have this "bald" eyebrow look!) I would also maybe play around with the color of his fur, make it a more natural looking black (although of course I can see why you like it when it's the deep, rich bluish hue!).
