even though i already have this in my faves, i am still so deeply affected by this picture. it reminds me so much of the bay i grew up on when my dad was in the Navy. i would sit out on an old Madrona tree, and just watch the tides come and go....one day, i actually watched the tide go out, and then roll back in. i think it was the ONLY time i ever got in trouble for that....
