well, still needs a LOT of work, and I'm gonna perfect it, despite the fact that I know I will not win lolI looked through the other entries...>.>....yeah I don't have a chance LOL
Anyway, yeah.. hehe tell me what you think.
Critiques, tips on coloring... a way I can get a voilent rain effect.

Since you state that you are not entirely done with the piece, I will just critique on things that can be improved upon.
Your sense of anatomy and proportions are doing well, the pose well thought out as well. The arms seem to be off though. You could tell they are supposed to be bent and knuckles faced the viewer, though there are no foreshortening creases and such. Adding a little bit more muscle definition and darker values around the elbows will help the arms look like they are towards the viewer instead of being abnormally short. The only problem with the neck, that I see, is that it is to wide. Otherwise, I think you did very well executing his "roaring" pose, showing strength and anger.
Your shading in this picture is a bit all over the place, but since the only light source(s) are the lighting bolts, I can give you a bit of a leniency. (Your scenery is a bit difficult to work with sometimes.) The shading upon his face makes his face structure look a bit more squarish. I think there would be more depth near his cheek bones, but if his cheeks are very puffy, then you would apply the shades like that. I would assume the shades on his face would be a bit more subtle since that's where most of the light is coming from.
I really recommend taking a risk on your colors, you shading is wonderful, but try adding different colors instead of darker tones of the base. Try using compliments and analogous themes.
There's a cute little cloud above his head that looks like a heart by the way.
I do think this is a magnificent picture, keep working at it!

This is great work; you did an incredible job.
I look at this though, and it seems a little. . . Constricted; it seems to me like there should be a little more space in the picture around him, to show the epic storm to better effect.

Ths is awesome! THe lightning on the wings and their texture are really good! A bit more work on the texture of the rest of the body and this could really turn out into something great ^^

is he loosing control of the lightning? in control? or just getting hit by it?
i love the way you did the wings and the lightning's not bad either thou i think you could put some white 'spots' here and there

He is an oromoth Drow, son of the Mighty Guardian Izdrath.
Long story short.. Izdrath is busy, as the Guardian of Darkness, protector of the world along with his Brother, Eldaron, Guardian of Light. In his world, not all things dark are evil and not all things light are good.
Izdrath had had another child, who was born tiny and premature and almost died, and between keeping the child alive, and having to travel to keep his family and the world safe, had very little time for his son. Daemon got upset and jealous and had teenager problems of thinking his father didn't care, and ran off. He was found by the fallen angel Eshyara who manipulated him into hating his father, but when he refused to kill his mother and sister, he'd outlived his usefulness and was murdered. Died in his father's arms and realized that he had been a fool and that his father truly did love him.
Eshara stole his body after burial, taking it to a powerful necromancer, who resurrected him as a very powerful undead, almost a lich. Daemon was completely under the Necromancer's control when he was sent to kill his mother, and this time.. though he fought it, he was under another man's control and so the deed was done. Izdrath and Eldaron come home to find their loved ones dead, and in a rage, Izdrath follows the magic trail and finds the Necromancer, who he brutally tears to bits with his vicious fangs and talons, thus freeing Daemon from the man's control, but, guilty, the undead Oromoth Drow flees.
He's losing control of the vicious undead beast within him, the thing that needs flesh to survive. The struggle is inside him, between that undead nature,and the gentle nature of his soul.

Wow, this is coming out really nicely!
I have nothing to critique in Daemon, he looks stunning!
But I have few suggestion for background. For example, add more different sized branches to lightnings to make them look more natural. Few very thin branches will look good with thicker ones. You could also fade those bright spots where lightnings start a bit more from edges.
You have done fantastic job so far, can't wait to see this ready!
