Here is another outfit Madeleine wears, after losing her wealth, home, and parents from her ex-fiancee. She fled to Scotland while her other sisters fled to other countries across Europe. Madeleine is relieved from wearing tight corsets and uncomfortable dresses she wore from her old life and wears simple shirts, bodices, skirts, and boots. She spent two years in Scotland living in the streets, remaining homeless, but modest. In 1874, she was harassed and assaulted from a group of thugs and one broke her arm, until a youthful Scotmouse saved her from the thugs, the young Scotmouse was Hiram Flaversham, and though she spoke French at first, she remembered her English, and Hiram takes her in and treated and bandaged her broken arm. They two warmed up to each other, and they continued to talk and began courting, realizing that they were in love. Fours years later they married, and had two daughters.
