This picture is new. I drew it yesterday. My first try at drawing my character Haileigh in the style of Class of the Titans.While the picture itself is really good...I like it, I really do...alas it's just not the way I picture Haileigh in my head. If anything...she looks more like Theresa to me lol.
See Haileigh is supposed to be the reincarnation of Helen of Troy...she looks exactly as Helen did back then, and through certain accidents that happened in her past, she has come to hold not only memories of her own life...but she has all of Helen's memories inside her as well.
Anyway...since she is Helen reborn in both spirit and body, she is supposed to be extremely beautiful. For some reason though I'm just not able to bring out that beauty on paper. At least not the way I want to.
So...I'm gonna keep trying, and I'll post each try so those of you that care can see my results.

I think the newer one I posted a couple days later is better. I'm still working on a final look for her tho.

You've definitely nailed the facial and eye style of the show so kudos there! So what is it that's out for you? Facial structure in CotT style is pretty static for women I find so I'm guessing it's the hair that's got you down. Do you have any notes on your character? I'm interested enough to take a stab at her if you're at all willing. It's been so long since I've tried I could use a challenge ^__^

Yeah it's the hair...and the face and everything lol. Her hair is supposed to be very flowy with subtle curls. I'm thinking I'll try changing the shape of her face a little...maybe define her cheeks a bit more, round out her chin and her nose a bit, and make her eyes a bit bigger and define them a little more.
Honestly my inspiration for her is Diane Kruger...especially this picture [link] ...as soon as I saw it it totally screamed HAILEIGH at me lol
You gots msn or something of the like? It would be nice to chat...I honestly don't know many people who like the show so I've only got a couple people to talk about the show with and stuffs lol.

Not sure how close that is to your vision of Haileigh. That's the problem with trying to pick other people's brains about a character... no two people truly see minds eye to minds eye
I don't usually use MSN or any other chat program because I'm such a putz on chats. I do occasionally use Skype though when I want to talk to others.
