Pixel attempt, it needed to be smoller. Anyway we got Riverwind and Rabbitthorn. Rabbit is Frogbog's half sister and the result of Thornface's affair. Briarshadow absolutely hates her and of course without saying her mother Mistymarsh. So by her influence she kept Rabbitthorn alienated from her half brothers who adored their mother and also knew better than to get on her bad side when it came to, anything. Like they were PISSED at their father but had to bite their tongues on that one since Briar decided they were going to keep playing at married life despite it being an obviously toxic situation for everyone involved. Anyway, for the first couple years of her life Rabbitthorn didn't have a lot of relationships on account of being on Briar's hit list and again, terrifying woman. No one wanted to get on her bad side. But when Riverwind joined the family Rabbitthorn reached out and was a big help to River during her time in the nursery. Normally Briar would have done everything to speak to Rabbitthorn having poor character and to stay away from her, but she was trying to look good for her daughter in law and Riverwind had mentioned to Frogbog it was nice how his family was actually, helpful and kind, a big difference compared to her own. Also having been recently disowned, she probably wouldn't like to hear about just how badly Briarshadow treated Rabbitthorn. Metting Riverwind kind of opened Frogbog's eyes to that and River didn't really have friends so, he wanted that for her. Rabbitthorn eventually did become her closest friend, she was there for her when Briarkit died and she mentored Icejaw at River's request. Rabbitthorn blames herself for Toadpaw's death but because of her grief Riverwind never really got around to correcting her on that, but they did stay close friends. Rabbit would of done anything for Riverwind and she was the last cat to see her alive, which is another thing she blames herself for, not being able to save her.
