Another fantastic job!Β I've got a huge stash of unbuilt kits myself.Β Mostly 1/35 armor and 1/72 aircraft.Β Even quite a few 1/48 armor kits.Β You've inspired me to get creative on my models again.Β Thank you.

Nope. I don't do competitions yet. I don't bother if my models are good or not. It is about the pleasure of building and painting!

sorry for asking but I've been holding in this question for a while and I've got to ask it,
what do you do to weather your tanks like that? sorry for asking but I'm envious of your skill XD

I like to help so i like questions!
This is how I treat my models;
Give the model a bath with mild soap;
Spray it with a grey primer;
Spray the whole model gloss black;
Airbrush it with the right colors;
remove some paint on some spots (doors/hatches) with a sharp knife (chipping)
Spray the model with glossy varnish;
apply the decals;
spray it with semigloss varnish
Give it a wash with terpentine and oil color (90% terpentine-10% vandyke brown oil color)
Drybrush with white and beige oil color
let the model dry for 2 weeks
spray the model with matt varnish;
spray it very lightly with tamiya buff
apply rust and dirt with mig pigments and/or acrylic color

Wow, you do a lot, and most of it is with an airbrush of which I don't own.
But I'll definitely do some chipping and invest in some varnish (if it can be applied with a brush)
Thanks for the help though!Β
