This is part of a theme "abstraction of structure". I incorporated abstract marks and colors that I associated with Aberystwyth, Wales, a geographic location I've visited. This place in on the coast of Wales...hence it's mostly blue.More from this theme to come...

Wow, I love this. I spent three years studying Art in Aberystwyth myself, making a lot of abstract work. Also, have you seen the work of Peter Lanyon from the 1950s - this reminds me very much of his style and technique? The marrying of abstract expressions and the British landscape.

I would like to inform you that Aberystwyth is NOT in England, it is in WALES - a different country from England - but all part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain! Please get it right in the future.

i would never have thought of england. i see china. the blue colors and geometric strokes of paint are characteristics of the architecture in china. magnificent.
