Amazing. the colours contrast and mold together perfectly with this. This could also signify Hell, Heaven, and Earth if you would want to take this painting in a biblical sense. Just wonderfully done!

Uh, WOW. I read the DD description about the 'beast' ripping itself out, then looked at the painting, and thought, "Wow, that's one heck of a colorful crab. Wait, what? Did he paint over it and then let it emerge to snap a picture of it, or what?" Annnnd only then did I realize that it's NOT a fantastic photo of a nightmarish crab--you PAINTED that. Unbelievably cool.

I love this one...it says so much to me. It looks like one of many failed attempts of an invertebrate creature to give birth to a vertebrate creature...like a metaphor for the artist's struggle to create something better than himself. Well, to me at least. Superb technique too.
