How do you customize the chat box, opening screen, and theme to something else? Also, do you know a nice and clean way to make your images transparent? I tried gimp but it wasn't clean. (I just downloaded ren'py last night oh my goodness)

You have to use that or use an animation program such as Jasc Animation Shop 3.

When I enter in the code for a menu, I save, and then launch the game. But then this happens:

hmm.. that i have yet to see about. i have lost EVERYTHING do to a huge virus recently, so.. i wont be submitting Ren'Py related tuts intil i can afford a higher quality comp. soz. DDx but i think its all about timing to what the character says. there probably would be mutiple lip movements in one animation. you have to sound out what the character says, and animate his or her lips by that. C: Ask all you want about ren'py C: oh and theres a good animator called jasc animation shop 3 . ill have to look up how to put animations in ren'py game maker script. xD

Sorry to say this so late but I kinda check deviant every so often....
I decided not to use it though >,>
Drawing skills weren't up to par so i chose not to use lip flap
I think to insert it you just have to assign a class to a person (I'm not a formally trained programmer, I'm just a person with a computer, and a dream ; so please bear with me if i don't use the right terms)
I'm going to try jasc ^-^
Maybe it will help with the VN i'm planning
